Grass Roots acquires HBI
September, 2008 - Global performance improvement company Grass Roots Group PLC today announced that it has added another new member to its growing family of businesses - HBI (formerly Hotel Brokers International). This venue-sourcing agency will continue to be led by Founder and Managing Director Des Mclaughlin and will retain all 44 employees based in its south-west London office. The acquisition makes Grass Roots Group the largest, and leading, events specialist in the UK and will enhance its global market reach in the 16 countries where it has offices.
David Evans awarded MBE
June, 2008 - David Evans, the Chairman and Chief Executive of international performance improvement business, Grass Roots Group and Chairman of Maritz, has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
Maritz switches to Visa backed pure card
May, 2008 - Performance improvement company Maritz today announced that it is introducing a new card - the pure card.
