Karen Giles - Director, Operations

I have spent my whole career to date in the travel industry, so it's a good job I love it! In 2001 I brought my thirteen years experience in managing travel programmes, delegate registration and telemarketing departments to Maritz.

I am currently Director - Operations overseeing our Project Support and Project Management teams. The Project Support division includes Participant Care (delegate registration), Aviation, Outsourced Administration, and Project Management covers delivery for incentives, learning, communications and meetings & events. Being passionate about processes and detail, I also take a leading role in quality and business continuity planning for Maritz.

Outside of work I love to watch motor racing, both cars and motorbikes. My claim to fame is that I once won ‘Driver of the Day’ at Silverstone against 45 car salesmen, which as you can imagine didn't go down too well!
