Grass Roots Group launches ‘Envy’

Envy BoxAugust, 2008 - The Grass Roots Group has launched its own ‘experiences’ product under the brand name of Envy.

The new product will feature in rewards programmes operated by all three Grass Roots Group brands in the U.K: Grass Roots, Maritz and Projectlink. Envy offers nearly 500 different experiences, grouped across nine specific price points.

At the entry level point, participants of client incentive or recognition programmes who are rewarded for achieving targets or demonstrating desired behaviour, can redeem points for, among other things, beauty treatments, family portraits and football stadium tours. Those with a more substantial credit balance will be able to choose activities such as a cookery course in Marrakesh, a trip to Euro Disney or a day whizzing around country roads in a Ferrari.

Upon redemption of the relevant number of points, the participant receives their Envy reward in a smart aluminium case along with a lanyard and a key ring. The enclosed voucher enables them to select their chosen experience via a dedicated website: www.envyexperiences.co.uk. A booking voucher is then despatched to enable them to make the final arrangements directly with their chosen experience provider.

Grass Roots Group Chairman David Evans sees a bright future for Envy: “Experiences are the fastest growing sub sector of the rewards market and it was time that a business of our size had its own brand. The Envy portfolio offers such a comprehensive range of experiences that there is something for everyone to enjoy within each price bracket. “

Envy will be a reward option available to employees at clients such as Barclays and Sainsburys from September.
